What type of salary can I expect to make?

The demand for massage therapists has also elevated overall wages to an average of $15 an hour and a yearly salary over $33,000 according to a 2001 Bureau of Labor and Statistics survey. In major metropolitan areas, the American Massage Therapy Association states that massage therapists often charge clients more than $60 an hour; based on a 30-hour work week some experienced therapists can net more than $90,000 annually.
